Insert the cable into the cutting hole; if the sheath is thick, rotate the tool to the 'maximum' setting. For thinner sheaths, turn it to the 'minimum' setting for efficient stripping. The blade depth does not require manual adjustment; it automatically adapts to the thickness of the cable, stripping the insulation without harming the internal cords, foil, or wires, thus simplifying the installation of Ethernet connectors. Various sizes of wire strippers are suitable for wires and cables with diameters ranging from 1/8" to 3/8" (3.2mm to 9.6mm).
